Am I unable to use it if playing from Steam? If anyone who has a knowledge of modding would be able to take the time to maybe provide some insight, I’d very much appreciate it.Īlso: I am currently using the Steam version of the game and was recommended to use Mod Manager but I cannot locate the witcher3.exe file anywhere. I’m not very savvy with Modding yet and a lot of the programming dialogue is quite alien to me. Am I doing something wrong there too, or is it not doable anymore? My last option was trying to manually install the mods I wanted and placing them in the “Mods” folder I made in the Witcher 3 files but that hasn’t done anything either. I’ve tried W3 Mod Manager off of Nexus but again, can’t seem to find the Witcher 3.exe file (I’m playing off of Steam and the pathway that it suggests when I search for the application doesn’t seem to work)
I’ve tried Vortex and was having issues with the Script Merger not running properly which sometimes allowed the mods to work, and sometimes it wouldn’t ( I had issues with ScriptMerger.exe not showing up in its allocated folder even though it was there when I search for it) I recently got a decent PC and have tried modding Witcher 3 but I’ve had so-so luck with it. The report button is available for those who do break the rules. Disagreeing is not an excuse to attack someone. No attacking another member of the subreddit for any reason.
